Septembre Each track shines through with a different medieval story, from wandering the ambulatory of an old cathedral to peacefully meditating in the summer sun. Beautifully done. Favorite track: The Seven.

sjöhäxan Like every Villein release, it blew me away with its intricate melodies and odes to a medieval time, resurrected thoughtfully in each track. There's something so unique and shimmery present in this particular album, that leaves me feeling rejuvenated and warm with each listen. Can't wait for more. Favorite track: Solar King and Lunar Queen.

gray friar it's difficult to select a favorite track on this album, so i'm not going to. this album, to me, is a sonic representation of an illuminated manuscript. just as each new manuscript leaf reveals something equally as sublime as that which is on the previous, each song on Matter and Nature unveils something just as superb as the song that precedes it.

An Goblin this is magnificent, medieval-tinged dungeon synth. each song feels iike a chapter, with its own flow, it's own ebb. Favorite track: Soul and Spirit.
